Recover Cognos Content with Netvisn

Recycle Bin instantly restore items mistakenly deleted from the Content Store. NetVisn makes it easy for the administrator to easily restore items back to the Content Store with all the properties and permissions they had when deleted: security, schedules, jobs, etc. just as they existed when deleted.

The NetVisn Recycle Bin includes all objects deleted from the Content Store.

For ease of management it is divided into Public and Personal Content.
In terms of either restoring or deleting content from the Recycle Bin it can be managed either by location of date of deletion.
In this example we have selected 4 queries from Public folders to be restored along with 5 objects from Melissa Smith’s Personal folder that were mistakenly deleted.
The status page shows that all 9 objects have been successfully restored.
